PROPASEC desiccant bags represent the most successful and safe solution to reduce the humidity level inside your packaging. Thanks to its absorption capacity, PROPASEC reduces the dew point inside the package allowing to protect the product qualities and properties against humidity attack.

PROPASEC desiccant bags are made by a natural mineral material which makes them a safe, environmentally friendly product. Furthermore, Propagroup carefully selects its clays and textiles to guarantee top quality in terms of resistance and high absorption level.

In case of material produced in accordance with standard DIN 55473:2001-02, the desiccant unit defines the quantity of drying material that absorbs a minimum quantity of 6,0 g of water vapour, at an air temperature of 23±2 ºC and a Relative Humidity of 40%.

Made from amorphous silica, PROPASIL appears as a hard, semitransparent granular substance. Its moisture-absorbing capacity is very high changing with environmental conditions.
PROPASIL was developed to protect the product from damages caused by moisture. Thanks to its absorption capacity, PROPASIL reduces the dew point inside the packing during shipment, thus preserving its qualities and properties.
PROPASIL micro range is an extremely practical and highly absorbent products. It is the ideal solution for humidity problems in small spaces. Being highly compact it occupies minimal space within the package, while effectively absorbing the residual internal relative humidity.
PROPASIL micro is available in sizes from 0,5 to 3 g.
PROPASIL is available in canisters and in capsules of different weights, certified US DMF and FDA approved. Thanks to their small dimensions they are perfect to absorb the excess humidity in small spaces as inside the containers and vials of medicines or dietary supplements.

In closed environments, in fact, humidity in the air combined with the one deriving from the evaporation of water contained in the load, virtually tends to create a tropical microclimate that allows infiltration of water vapor into the packages transported.
The result is the creation of condensation that continuously forms and dries, causing irreparable damages.
