Propagroup presents the range of temperature indicators for a complete monitoring during transport and storage. Simple, precise, economical and easy to apply, temperature indicators are capable of recording whenever the temperature goes beyond the previously set minimum or maximum limit, so that you will be promptly warned of any faults in the cooling systems or insulation in containers just upon the arrival of the merchandise.

Temperature indicators are ideal to control the products that suffer spoilage of their proprieties if exposed to certain temperatures, i.e. :

ShockWatch and ShockDot impact indicators are sophisticated tamper-proof devices able to detect impacts due to mishandling of products during transportation or storage and to alert in a clear and irreversible manner.

ShockWatch and ShockDot indicators are very easy to use. Mounted on a packaging container, the device turns red when a potentially harmful impact has occurred.

There are different types of ShockWatch impact indicators:

  • ShockWatch and ShockDot labels: these devices contain a red liquid held in suspension. When the device is subjected to an impact above the G-level reaction of the indicator, the shock disrupts the surface tension of the liquid, by coloring the warning area red in a clearly visible way. ShockWatch labels are available in five sensitivities, as indicated by the five different colors. ShockDot indicators furthermore have a unique identification system that guarantees their originality and quality.
  • ShockWatch 2: these monitoring devices detect the accidental fall during transit or storage. The ShockWatch 2 indicators are field-armable and have a unique identifier to support traceability. They are available in seven sensitivities, as indicated by the seven different colors and also in RFID version. Thanks to this technological innovation it will be possible to detect more rapidly a damaged package upon its receipt. Thanks to a RFID sensor that allows communication between the label and your society ERP, the activation can be read electronically and not only visually.
  • MAG 2000 is a cost-effective, resettable and temper-proof impact indicator able to record with accuracy the excessive impacts on large crates weighing over 225 kg (500 pounds). MAG 2000 is specifically designed to be calibrated according to your package weight.

Main applications of ShockWatch and ShockDot labels and ShockWatch 2: automotive components, commercial appliances, semiconductor devices, computer hard drives, lab equipment, storage media (HDs, recording tapes, etc.), glass products, electronics, furniture, and more.

Main applications of ShockWatch MAG 2000: particularly suitable for monitoring shipment of machinery packed in crates, manufacturing equipment, electronic systems, printing machines, X-ray equipment, freight containers, railway freight cars and trucks.

PROPASECARD

Humidity indicators cobalt-dichloride free.

PROPASECARD is a stiff card with reversible reading spots of the relative humidity (RH), “cobalt-dichloride free”, changing the color from blue to rose when a relative humidity level has been exceeded.

The humidity indicator PROPASECARD has to be put into the packaging of the product that you want to control and it is available in several versions. PROPASECARD can monitor low relative humidity levels down to a 5% RH or high levels up to a 90% RH, according to the application and necessity.

It provides visual proof of the level of RH in an environment and/or packing. If PROPASECARD indicates high humidity levels, users know that the desiccant must be replaced and the product checked.

It is normally used with desiccants in any application where humidity is at a critical point that can affect the manufactured product.

The humidity indicator PROPASECARD is easy to use and quickly readable. Spots are blue in absence of moisture and they turn to pink at the reaching of different indicated humidity levels.

Indicators with viewing window: PROPASECARD with viewing window can be put in protective bags and caps too, in order to control the relative humidity rate inside the packaging looking from outside.

TIMESTRIP

Time under control

Timestrip Time monitoring indicators measure the length of time since activation. This can be from minutes to years. Short time indicators from 1 Hour to 7 Days can be implemented in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries- from changing dressings to timing diagnostics results. Longer time lapse indicators can be used for products that need routine replacement, service and repair.

Timestrip elapsed time indicators are small nonreversible reminders. They allow you to see how long it has been since activation.

Once activated by squeezing the activation blister, they immediately begin to show the amount of time that has passed by filling the window with colour. The Timestrip can be directly applied to individual diagnostic kits or products with its convenient adhesive backing. When the Timestrip indicator has completely filled with colour, 1 hour has passed, reminding the user to take action.

Short-term time indicators: One hour, 12 hour and 7 days, are irreversible single use disposable timers in a convenient adhesive smart label format; they can be attached directly onto a product or device and provide a visual reminder to replace a part, monitor an expiry date or check medical/diagnostic results.

Longer-term time indicators: 1 month, 3 months, 6 month and 12 months, are used as medical, industrial filtration or product consumables replacement reminders, or as monthly-annual service requirements / appointment reminders. Also available in keychain format for 3 and 12 months.

The use cases vary, for example in healthcare, an easy-to-read Timestrip can prompt nurses or patients themselves when repeat doses or dressing or cannula changes are due. This is particularly useful in helping hospital staff to comply with infection control procedures. By putting a Timestrip on a product or device, the end user has a constant visual reminder every time they use it. This encourages closer adherence to recommended or regulated replacement or servicing cycles, which will lead to a noticeable improvement in product or appliance performance.

The ideal helper for monitoring environmental conditions. Accurate monitoring during all supply chain processes is essential to ensure that the quality of all products sensitive to changes in environmental conditions is maintained. This is even more important in processes that cannot be fully controlled, such as transport.

Propalogger recorders are the ideal tool to assist you in this task. Designed to monitor and control temperature and humidity, Propalogger technology recorders provide accurate visibility at all logistical stages in order to detect problems that may occur along the supply chain. This allows direct control and facilitates timely actions to optimize processes and identify issues that may impact product quality.

PROPALOGGER USB TEMP SINGLE USE

Disposable temperature recorders that can be used to monitor the cold chain. Depending on the model, these devices record for 30, 60 or 90 days all activities that occur during storage and transport. These devices are equipped with a LED alarm to indicate that the temperature range <2°C / >8°C has been exceeded, visible immediately upon receipt of the goods. At the end of the recording, via the USB output, the device will generate a report in pdf format for data analysis.

These devices have a recording capacity of 32,000 intervals, which can be programmed before using free software that can be downloaded from our website.

The programming of the device offers deferred recording start, recording intervals and alarms for exceeding a defined temperature and humidity range.

Through the LCD screen it is possible to check, upon receipt of the goods, whether an alarm has been triggered and to check the maximum and minimum detection of temperature and humidity. At the end of the recording, the device will automatically generate a report in pdf format for data analysis, which can be downloaded via the USB output, without the need to install additional drivers when the device is connected to the computer.

ShockLog Shockwatch Impact & Environmental Recorders continually monitor and report in real time the shock, vibration, and environmental conditions experienced by structures, facilities, and equipment during transit, storage and operation. These products record the direction, amplitude and duration of impact force.

Thanks to the field-proven triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer technology, ShockLog is able to give complete and reliable information. The ShockLog recorders help to deter, monitor and minimize damage and are available in the following versions:

  • ShockLog 298: records the date and time of up to 870 shock and vibration events, time slots and summary data. Available also with TR (tilt and roll), GPS options, if necessary also in combination among them.
  • ShockLog 248: records the date and time of up to 15 shock events, time slots and summary data

Main applications: offshore oil platforms and equipment, building structures and foundations, warehouses and storage facilities, packaging and vehicles in supply chain, lasers, missiles and satellites, power transformers, nuclear materials, biomedical supplies, wind turbines and much more.
