Instead of using a chain to manipulate the load, a hand lever is used. Continuous movement of the handwheel by the operator moves the load in small steps. The &#8220;ratchet and pawl&#8221; type is usually cheaper and is used where there are no requirements for accurate handling.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tick\">Lifting means &#8211; short chain, chain of bicycle rollers, rope or belt (polyester).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 16px;\">\n<li><strong>Lever hoists are the most used<\/strong>, because the <strong>chain is flexible in all directions<\/strong> and is <strong>easy to control for wear<\/strong>. <strong>The short chain exists<\/strong> in a variety of grades and strengths (galvanized, electro-galvanized, black, stainless, etc.). <strong>The short chain<\/strong> can be <strong>easily changed in case of wear<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The chain of bicycle cylinders<\/strong> is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>more expensive<\/strong><\/span> than the short chain, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>more difficult to control for wear<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>can not accept lateral pull<\/strong> <\/span>(lateral tension &#8211; no pull in straight hook-hook line).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wire rope lever hoists<\/strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>are cheaper than chain hoists<\/strong><\/span>, but are limited in lifting capacity. They are more vulnerable to wear and difficult to control<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>crimped belts<\/strong> are used in the food industry or where conduction plays an important role<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul class=\"featureList\" style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 16px;\">\n<li class=\"tick\">Lever handle length &#8211; The length of the lever handle must be taken into account when working in a confined space.<\/li>\n<li>Handle force &#8211; the force to be applied to the user by the operator.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tick\">Amount (\u20ac ) available for purchase<\/li>\n<li class=\"tick\">An additional feature that is offered is the incorporation into the lever hoist (for s<strong>hort-chain type<\/strong>) <strong>overload protection<\/strong>. <strong>Overload protection warns<\/strong> the operator and prevents excessive force on the hand lever and the chain.
